General Edward Braddock, died during an attempt to take over Fort Duquesne in Pennsylvania. He was barried in the middle of a road and stepped upon to make it look normal.

The French and Indian War and, or 'War of the Conquest' was all about the fur trade. Two countries, French and Britian were fighting over the St. Lawrence and Oswgotchie Rivers. This war was later known as 'the Seven Year War' because of the bigger conflicts.

Fort Levis was designed to prevent a British attack on Chimney Island, up the St. Lawrence River on Montreal and Quebec. Fort de la Presentation was a fort build in Ogdensburg, New York. Designed by Abbe Franois to convert indians to christianity.
